What is Sleep ?

Sleep is not something that ever happens to you ...

That is why we don't ask each other "how have you been slept ?" - we ask "how did you sleep ?". Sleep is something you actively do.

Sleep is an Activity.

Sleep is the activity of Earning Life Income.

The salary is extremely fair and always granted: The better the sleep job you do and the longer you stay at it, the more you earn.

  • The currency you are paid in:

Life energy, improved physical, emotional, and mental health, better focus, improved memory, feeling generally better, smoother relationships, greater ease and joy of life.

You physically must spend this wellbeing income in order to be awake. It never pays off to spend more than you have earned ...

You cannot do something with your body and mind without depleting your inner batteries and without causing wear and tear to your organism; it is a physical Performance Limitation, dictated by Laws of Nature.

When you sleep, you do something on your body and mind, you perform daily heavy-duty inner Self-Maintenance, an intensive job. You immobilize your body and take your conscious mind offline, so that you can service both.

That is why sleep is a non-conscious activity that may look from outside as if you did nothing. While you are sleeping, you cannot be aware of that you are doing anything, what you are doing, and how well you are doing it. However, as soon as you do sleep efficiently, you do great many things É

Performing the activity of sleeping is by no means ever automatic. Every single cell of your body participates and your brain sets priorities, makes decisions, directs, and coordinates every organ of your entire body simultaneously and non-stop just as carefully as when you are fully awake.

If you intend to remain or become healthy, feel well, and joyful, the activity Sleeping is simply just as important as all activities combined, which you could possibly do when awake.
